I mean if I'm doing "bespoke" (or rather MtM based on last modification), I would think the value is from "fit", so maybe go for loafer, but I never get a true good fit from loafer, so order the first thing on loafer is probably not ideal...

I thought about split toe, though I don't see any split toe make up on his IG (other than in progress)...

You mean the one posted July 1st?

What about the lazyman he posted today?

I only see this split toe in progress

lazyman, not sure, there are pretty limited pattern you can do in lazyman (given the elastic) without looking odd, and I kind got a lot already, and so far the lazyman he had showed is pretty standard affair

edit: and I'm not too into odd color, so have to just browse a bit to get some inspiration I suppose

edit2: and just noticed it's an 4 eyelet split toe (vs 5 on say dover/centurion), will be interested to see his take on it

I mean he got this English middle ground sensibility to it, but guess I'm more attract to say YK if I want English to Japanese level sharpness (so maybe secretly I want French, though French usually looks too elongated)

Hey, we're trying to help you get less-divorced by not burning a whole too large on that wallet for the misses to notice lol!

Emphasis on "less"

well, I really need some love on first sight :p, value proposition at over $1.5k gets hard to be called "value" even when it's less.

YK? Mmmmm seen the prices lately? @deez shoes is on to something.

Actually what I appreciate about the Perticone shoes is that middle ground. Not as boring as English, but not as flamboyant as say PS or AM. Consequently, he won't wow you with the shoes, but won't put you to sleep.
He just makes a shoe that you cannn... well Wear.
