I am also considering a pair of Ortho, potentially in Melograno. Anyone has experience with this leather? Pictures online varies quite a lot

Here's a pair in melograno. The color is really lovely with its orange hues.

Ugh all this talk about GMTO from Clee is giving me the itch to get more Meccariello. @BColl_Has_Too_Many_Shoes wanna try using your masterful skills of persuasion to convince Antonio to come to New York maybe next year? I'll be down for a pair of Aurum MTM or even bespoke if that's what it takes to get him to come haha.

I can attempt to try again. In fact, @Encore and I had previously tried to no avail. Saying that, I am not too good at taking no for an answer ?.

I can say, with some confidence, it would probably take, at least, 8 to 10 guys purchasing either Aurum or Bespoke. No surprise, I'd be down for another Aurum shoe. So that's 2 down. ?

I could be convinced to go to Toronto for a weekend... Not the silliest thing I've done.

Hell, I already told @Encore I would go ?. You figure that could be 7 for Toronto, but we'd need a few more. Unfortunately, for people closer to NY they may not want to head over further north. But you never know. There's plenty of time to cook something up.

C'mon let's bring the whole japanese shoe club. While in Toronto, might as get MTM at Spier & Mackay too lol. I just got Global Entry in January so need to get my money's worth if borders are open

SM MTM ? not a bad idea.

how do you guys go to Toronto without spouse/kid again? And if you do go with spouse, how do you explain this "side-trip" again...?

I'd have to make it a family trip with the "odd coincidence" that said shoemaker was there haha.

It's just part of the club? ?

I'm single so gotta do these silly things while I still can.

Edit: but really, Toronto has boomed the past decade. I was amazed at how much bustling it is compared to the 2000s, so not a bad place for a family trip
