It looks like hatch grain more than scorch grain, or because it seems so smooth.

Antonio says it's a pebble grain leather from Annonay.



It's the black swatch in this picture...whichever one is the black one of the 3 darkest shades. I honestly can't even tell...

I ordered a pair almost exactly like this, but in a dark red (and not grain). Thinking about doing a smooth/hatch grain mix on my next order. Some recent ones (from here, and skoak) have been looking really good.

I emailed him, but he didn't show me anything like this. He just told me he got hatch grain and scotch grain.
The progress is really slow

Well, pebble grain and scotch grain are the same thing, AFAIK.

I usually get no medallion for simplicity, and it makes it look cleaner/lines are more fluid and sharp
