Somewhere around there for the old Argentum HW before it became the norm. “Titanus superior quality is made with higher end materials which amount to a 25% increase in cost and requires 30% more time to complete.” He specifically called out the welt and blind waist as 20% of that time increase. Cost increase is leather wastage.

Same thing with that Argentum Dux thing, but he kept “improving “ his product so I don’t know if these lines are still same anymore?

@Jmr928 you have that loafer from Medallion, any visible difference on the welt? Leather is hard to tell but I remember you saying the leather on those loafer were really great

I’ll pull them out and grab some comparison between Arg HW, Arg and Titanus.

Left to right. Titanus, Arg HW, Arg MTO, Arg. RTW, Arg. Dux

Titanus welt and waist is comparable to Argentum HW. Heel is cut just a little tighter, waist is just a little more tucked under, a little more beveled. Arg. HW is higher spi on sole stitch.

Yes - Titanus leather is really excellent but I also haven’t had a bad experience with Antonio’s leathers.
