Well that's easy peasy. They look really nice. So the regular mtm are on par or better than GG bench grade?

Why did you choose those particular leathers? I have no experience with them so I'm just curious.

I wish A.M. would just update his website with details on the make of each shuu line, the leathers he favours, and pricing info. There's too much various info spread about this thread, and it's not working until someone comes up with the whole info in one post.

Based on my latest correspondence with Antonio, the pricing is as follows:

    Standard MTO for shoes: €650

    Aurum MTO for shoes: €1,100

Last modification and Goodyear-welted trial shoes (available for both standard and Aurum): €300

    LuLu metal toe-taps: €50

    3-piece bespoke shoe trees: €150

    2-piece bespoke shoe trees: €120

Shipping (for me in NYC): €180 (this covered both the trial shoes and the final pair)

A couple caveats -- I have no idea what the markups are for exotic leathers and boots as I was only interested in buying shoes in a standard leather when I made my purchase. I also don't know if the bespoke trees are restricted to the Aurum line only or if they are also available for standard MTO's.

You are right...I am clueless about MTO.

I have, however, visited Antonio in his factory in Airola and have two pairs of Aurum shoes...for what its worth.

@diadem do we need to pay extra for shoe trees if we order aurum?

Yes, bespoke shoe trees are not included in the price for Aurum MTO's.

Bison for the test shoes because Antonio had an impressive piece of dark brown bison in his showroom, and I thought the thick, grainy leather would help me gauge the feel of elephant. Elephant for the final pair because I thought it'd be awesome.

The shoe trees are amazing and well worth the money.
