I'm surprised ACME doesn't have its own thread yet. I imagine there's a large group on SF that either own or follow the brand.

it's bury in here

edit: when I started it was meant to be high end chinese, but now it's getting closer to every higher end not Japan or Western Europe

Amazing. Antonio is working on my pair. Can’t wait to see how they come out when he’s finished with them.

It’s an incredible leather .. absolutely love it :) congrats on this impending pair of killers.

How long did these shoes take to make?

These took 3 mo at the time

Of course the shoes are great, but do tell about those trousers.

These are Loro Piana wool from Cavour

I'm still on this Brown Moleskin thing. I basically want a warmer Chino and Moleskins seem to fit the bill. Not that I want to veer off my Cords but more like an alternative to them.

I'll probably end up picking up a Wooly flannel and a Moleskin of some kind. Flat fronts on both.

Out of curiosity: would you say that, by judging from photos and videos, Antonio's aurum competes with Acme rtw in terms of finishing?

Hopefully owners of both can respond, but based on visuals I would say undoubtedly yes. The Aurums are impeccably finished. Right up there with some of the best shoemakers and many of the other makers I own (I don't own ACME so I can't provide a definitive response).
