Incidentally, I always suck at taking pictures. This was the pair I took a picture of a few weeks ago, so it is my latest commission from Antonio. An adelaide pattern but with the peak counter.

Obviously, my picture doesn't have the same effect as Antonio's picture ?. Which is why I figured I'd post his as opposed to mines.

I did ?. I posted them a few pages back. See! I told you easily forgettable haha.

The color is Cigar. It is not a patina, but one from his vintage aniline leathers.

True. For my last mto order Antonio sent me a short video clip of Napoli (beautiful clip btw) with a message at the end that basically says perfection/beauty has no time. So I expect delivery to be sometime between now and my toddler's college graduation.

I got the same video. Guess he sent it to everyone who has unfinished pairs with him?

By the way, AM is converting more and more of his Argentum RTW to patina service. It will probably enhance the delivery speed if one does not need to change the sole option etc. - you choose the colour, and crust shoes would queue up to be painted and delivered within 2 weeks (instead of the eternal 16-18-20-22-24 weeks).

suede "patina", throw some nano protector and it's equally good as any suede for bad weather?

Yes. I used the Pedag spray as it's a larger bottle (so I don't use up a bottle as quickly as Saphir nano protector).

Aren't the new patina shoes Goodyear welted instead of Argentum welted? That lessens the appeal for me personally.

and, if one were to request a patina on an Argentum MTO would it get the GYW or AW treatment?

I thought Argentum MTO is always AW, or anything under the Argentum section is AW, only Aeris is GW.

There are no mention of the construction/lasts for patina models.
