I was at Antonio's yesterday and saw your package ready to ship! I didn't see the shoes though because it was already taped shut and ready to mail.

These are fantastic! I think I might ask for a similar shoe for my next purchase- I love this leather.

Thanks AG, really like yours too. Will let you know how the leather wears.

They just arrived. The fit is absolutely perfect and they look great.

Some differences compared to my last order:
There was a strong beveled waist, more so than on my Carminas.
The waist was cut specifically in line with the vibram topy I have added, a really nice touch.
The heel finishing was more refined than last time, more akin to what one would see at Foster and Sons.
They came with really nice black shoe bags with Antonio's logo compared to the red previously.
The shape of the shoe cradles the foot really well yet hugs it, it's hard to describe but extremely comfortable.

Overall extremely happy. I have a bad feeling I will end up slowly buying the rest of my shoe collection from Antonio.

My advice to anyone who wants something SF approved would be to make sure that you ask for the welt to be cut a little closer. They are a little chunky on these, which I like as an American, but probably not typical for here.

Since I guess I can't give a 100% positive review, my only complaint is that one of the shoe trees arrived with a serious crack a piece of the top chipping off (about 1" worth). Wouldn't be a problem if I had wood glue to put the chip back on, but will prevent me using the trees until I can find some. This, of course, isn't Antonio's fault so I didn't even bother him with it. I'm sure Royal Mail kicks all packages entering the country for fun.

He used GLS, which is pretty good. I think Royal Mail still handles some of the processing in the UK.

No matter how good the service, these things happen.

Sounds great! Now we want to see more pics!

Agree with the welt being a bit wide. It's his house style and a matter of style preferences, but personally I will ask for a closer cut welt on next order.

    Hi Antonio,

Any chance you can reply my email regarding shoe ordering? I sent you emails couple days ago. Thanks.

Looks really nice! Is it the new Aurum collection? The sole treatment looks a bit different than usual.

To tell you the truth I don't know the names of Antonio's collections! It is a 4 hand project, I told Antonio what I wanted, he sent some sketches and we took it from there...
