Damn, that patina on the left is stellar.

I wouldn't call it patina, it just looked damaged beyond repair to me..., I wear my shoes pretty hard too, but if I get to that point I would probably donate...

I love the the way they are. Isn't patina a more beautiful word for "worn" ?

I tend to disagree a bit. Enzo's and Antonio's insteps are significantly higher than Vass. Vass U, K and F lasts fit me like a dream. For me, MTO is the way to go for Enzo but I just could not resisting picking a few RTW on Black Friday with tongue pads coming in handy.

Can anyone give me any sizing advice for the round last? According to the sizing guide I should get a 6.5E - I was a 6E in length and 7E in width. In the Carmina Rain last I wear 6.5, which fits well width but are a bit long.

The sizing guide sounds correct based on what you describe of your fit in the Rain last. Size 6 in AM will likely not work for you.

Merry Christmas. I couldn't think of a better gift for oneself.

Thanks. That's what I assumed. Now I just need to decide what model to buy.

I’m in a similar size - slightly wider feet but short. I wear UK6 for most TTS brands eg Carmina (including rain) and Enzo Bonafe, and UK6.5 for some English brands like G&G. I also wear UK6.5 for AM, though it is a bit tight for soft square (I’m ok with the other lasts - round and chisel2).

Just scrolled through Antonio's instagram... looks like there will be some lovely shoes coming to Yeossal in the not-too-distant future.

Hey question for guys that have ordered from Antonio as I am not sure he quite understood what I was asking. I ordered a shoe which he said required a modification to the last in order to get a good fit. This was done on the soft square. I then asked him if this could be used on other lasts such as chisel, etc and he said yes as its a personal last. I know that the lasts are probably quite different. Just wondering if I could use the personal last to switch between the different lasts to achieve a good fit. Hope that makes sense.

    Thanks

FWIW, I have a personal fit on the soft square last. I inquired about a different model I saw on his website, but made on my personal last, not realizing that the different model was made on another last. He then pointed out this issue and said that he could either use the soft square last with my modifications or transfer the modification to the different last. So I think the result would be two different personalized lasts.
