The only monk samples I could find were the Sagittari and Sagittari II, both of which can be had on the Argentum line. There is also the wholecut, Signifer and also the Signifer in Bi-material (leather and suede.) I personally like the Captoe version as it will help hide creasing. On a argentum hawksbill / argentum chisel 2 last with leather sole. These 2 lasts would give it a slim and sleek look and accentuate the Sagittari. We have room for modifications as well.

@Res @Bespokeplad I ABSOLUTELY LOVE WHERE YOU ARE GOING WITH THIS !!!!

I would be in for a range of double monks GMTOs eg;

Signifier in tone on tone ie dark brown leather and matching dark brown suede (this is a really fantastic design, just look at these shots, amazing, amazing, but the high contrast makeup in the webshop may be too casual for office?)

The creasing is a concern for me too but honestly, AM leather is so great, it's not a deal breaker

or

Sagittari in Chisel 1, am also okay with Chisel 2 last which is a bit of an acquired taste but captoe balances this out nicely, along the lines of the Bestetti images I posted earlier. I think this makeup is in Chisel 2 by regular forum contributor @shirtingfantasy?

If you are worried about creasing, the Sagittari captoe is your safest bet - and a very classic and beautiful shoe!

If you like the swept monk, I dug around his instagram just now and found two very direct comparisons for you;

• Signifier 1 wholecut with a better angle of the seamless back
• Signifier 2 in one leather.

@Bespokeplad, do you have a preferred model?

Were you thinking of this color? This one is called Lontra.

Oh I see it now. Unless it is the lighting (which I doubt), that olive green looks different than the one in this picture. I really like this version.

yup this is the most brown olive green I have ever seen... though I guess the other olive green is more black olive green...

Thanks @clee1982 you beat me to it. I'm open to color as well, but preference to the basics (i.e. not grey, blue, etc.). I'm fine with single material, but would be good with a subtle bi-material as well.

I'd vote leather soles + metal toe taps.
