With the inherent risks of making wholecut shell shoes (AM said he called up Enzo Bonafe to learn that they usually break 4-5 pairs out of 20, and wished him “good luck”), and the relative high price to make this possible, guess single MTO with full customisations is the way to go.

Would anyone be interested in the Libritor wholecut with a medallion in Amber? Just like the one on his homepage. I have an interested guy and I am also thinking about it. Needs 6 minimum.

Very nice @beargonefishing - would love to know the status of mine as I elected not to have them remade with the peaked heel counter like yours. Sent a note to AM today so hopefully I'll hear back soon but kinda frustrating that AM has sent out some of the GMTOs while others are still waiting...in my past GMTO experiences, all of the orders are shipped out around the same time.

I got a really quick response when I reached out, a few hours, and was told they were still making the lasted shoe trees. That made sense because the size I ordered was 12.5F, a non-standard size (a 12F would have been a perfect fit).

Does anyone find the idea of a GMTO for a pair of loafers particularly interesting? Obviously I'm open to compromise but this is what I'm thinking of so far.

Would probably be a penny loafer version of this (probably keeping the round toe last)
