I've been picking up vintage nickel plated champagne buckets. Each brand had their own unique combination of enamel or stamped metal label, shape, handles. The guy I get mine from has over 200 in his personal collection. I bought the Perrier Jouet you see in the middle.

Love vintage Navajo weaves. Good find. What do you plan to do with it?

This one will most likely go on the wall due to it's age. Or, we might drape it over a large leather couch. I put the heavier woven Navajo rugs on the floor and the lighter ones on the wall.

I'd hang it. We have similar taste. Old rugs make fantastic wall decorations and you don't have to worry about taking care of it.

I picked up another antique typewriter this weekend. Someone on the Nextdoor app had three he was getting rid of for $20 each. I wanted all three but I was too slow.

It's a Corona Model 4 from the 1920s.

I've been collecting glassware for years, and lately I've been focusing on period Art Deco pieces designed by George Sakier for the Fostoria Glass Company. Below are two recent acquisitions. The ruby colored ones are particularly difficult to find. The design is from about 1930, and the line is #2447. Clear and yellow are the easiest colors to find (Replacements even has them), and the rest vary in levels of difficulty. Colors include: crystal (colorless), yellow, pink, green, light blue, ruby, cobalt, black (ebony), and wisteria (Neodymium, which shifts color from light blue to purple in various light sources). In his five decade tenure at Fostoria, George Sakier is probably most known for his Lotus vases, followed by the Nautilus-style vase and the line of octagon decorative items.

At action today I won this 19th century Navajo weaving. It's well worn but wonderful colors and originally from the Denver Art Museum collection.

@Mannix. Love the candle holders. Art decoish and Scandi mid century at the same time. I also appreciate Fostoria, and their 'depression' glass. They have fenomenal acid etched wine glasses. I wish I bought more of them when I lived in US.

Hard to imagine, by looking at the condition alone, that the monarch on the throne when this was made was Henry VIII.

Picked up a couple of vintage Navajo rugs this weekend at the flea market. I especially like rugs with a shot of bold red as in each of these three. I will be sending them out for cleaning. The guy I use, Enver from Denver, has cleaned and repaired approx 18,000 Navajo rugs in his career. He can get rid of most bleeding, repair rough edges and clean and moth proof old rugs. The cost is $6 a SF plus shipping. Repairs are quoted separately.
