Yeah, I know there are about 12 of these a day, but I need some advice/comments.

Do you like this watch?

I wanted to spend under $200, and assumed that nothing mechanical was in my price range. I like this, but don't know if it looks weird with the 3 different comps.

If you don't like, any suggestions in that range?

It's not bad. Although try to look for other options.

I like the simplistic style.

If you go to the $340, that Seiko that was discussed within the past couple of weeks was pretty sweet.

I think it looks neat - very simple, elegant and utilitarian.

Then again, as someone who reveres digital watches, I'm probably the last person you should be listening to.

If it didn't have something that rhymed with "vulva" on the dial I'd say go for it. But the name/logo kill the face.

No.

If you're that limited on your budget, while having higher aspirations, then you shouldn't be looking for a new time piece. You should be saving $50-100 a month for a year, so you can get a decent piece as "new old stock" in a years time.

In the meantime, get a $125 Seiko, or used Hamilton (check timezone's sales forum) to get you through.

You may want to check out the PMWF (poor mans watch forum) for reviews of sub $250 units that are have proven their value.

That watch, imo, is a waste of money at any price.
