ok, I've been pretty happy with the last patterned sportcoat I purchased (the blue checked jacket)-- thinking about another jacket, looking for some input on this one:

1. What's your take on the pattern/ size of the pattern? looks to be a black and white houndstooth, maybe? the last thing i want is a grampa-pattern, or something that won't be versatile-- gotta be good for the $$ investment.

2. Should I pull the trigger, what would look good with the jacket? So far, I'm thinking black or shades of gray trousers, and possibly I could wear a light blue shirt as well as a white one? please advise!

overall, a good purchase or no in your opinion?

thanks!

I prefer that pattern in something other than black and white, but it is very versatile.

+2 on what Matt and Doc said. Nice pattern, but limited in utility. I see gray pants but that's about it unless you want to do black
