actually, I'm impressed, in that I'm not horribly disappointed. Its no No. 1, but it's better than the others (which is to say a few of the pages held my attention through 2 full columns). Again, though, just as with the buckshot-brogue, SF had the "pope's red loafers debate" months ago.

Does anybody else find Brian Williams to look like a sanitzed, sober, network-primetime Bogart?

Other opinions?

My reaction, so far, is the same as yours -- much better than the last two, but still not to the level of the first. I've enjoyed several articles, and still have a good bit more to read. Overall, it seems like one of the more interesting magazines I've read lately.

My girlfriend really enjoyed it too.

Speaking of which, I paged through the first issue of 'Classic Style Magazine' at B&N today. It's run by the Fedora Lounge crew and had some decent stuff in it. I didn't read through all the articles, but the style advice I picked through was pretty sound. Any hat fetishist will definitely want to check it out.

I saw that. Not too shabby at all, but just a bit too "nichey" for me to spend $ on. I'll happily lurk their board, but I can't imagine paying for admission.

much better than the previous sports tragedy issue. I thought the ads were the best part of the magazine. But overall pretty uninspiring. As much as GQ/Details get flack on here, I look more forward to those magazines than MV, as they have a certain entertainment value that holds my interest.

I finally just finished reading the dreary Nov./Dec. issue of Men's Vogue. I hadn't intended on buying any future issues but if a few more positive reviews roll in perhaps I'll change my mind.
