Well, more egregious than the EG oversight (if it is one), is the fact that it's CLEARLY not RLPL.

My understanding is that purple label shoes have "Ralph Lauren" written in script inside the shoe. These are clearly not purple label.

They may not be RLPL, but at least he is close to the price, which is in fact $595 msrp; which is better than most of the other sellers on ebay.

Close isn't good enough. It's a misrepresentation that is criminal fraud.

I emailed the seller and the person is just stupid, not criminal. The description has been changed.

pretty weak revision by the seller. Left all the original stuff about RLPL and EG.

The person is stupid, and also not the most charming of ebay sellers...

Some awesome goods he's selling though. Check out the Loro Piana 1/2 zip sweater.

Thank God I am stupid but charming...

He's learning. Selling on ebay is an educational experience. Overhyping things leads to returns.

...More folks should realize that when they screw up and someone points it out the best response is "Thank you, I was wrong, let me fix that".

I was being relative to the context of the world of ebay selling. Jon.
