I'm looking for a certain type of coat, but can't really get an exact name for it. It's wool, button front, and short. Here are a few examples: If you guys could point me at some online stores or give me an exact name for this type of coat that would be great. I'm really looking for $150 or less but for a really good one I'd be willing to stretch. I think the second one is some sort of 3-button blazer, but I'm really looking for something more like the EG bedford but on the less expensive side. I'm pretty slim too (35/36 inch chest) so keep that in mind please.

They're pretty different, which one do you really want?

BTW, if you search for a shirt collar jacket, that's the only term I know of for the first one.

Could the first one possibly be considered a "car coat" or "driving coat?" Or are those usually 3/4 length?

The second is just a short tweed 3-button blazer with a high button stance.

I saw that bomber in the coat thread earlier, but they're out of smalls unfourtunately. Does anyone know any brands that make blazers with button stances that high?
