Another boot question

    Any opinions on boot #11? http://benniesshoes.com/grenson11.5.htm The thing I am really curious about I guess is the toe. Will this be too "dressy" to be able to wear with jeans? Or is this the kind of thing that most look for in a chelsea?

    Those boots are not my cup-of-tea, but they'd be fine with jeans IMO

    With slim (pencil leg) jeans, good. Bootcut jeans, debatable. Relaxed or baggy jeans - no.

    I think shiny black shoes of any kind look terrible with lighter colored jeans. And I agree with LAGuy, the jeans must be pretty fitted to look good with these.

    Thanks guys. Still on my quest to find some boots I suppose. I saw another shoe I like on ebay - some Ferragamo Bit Loafers. Anyone know what these normally go for? The price is already up to 100+ after 1 day and there around 5 or 6 days left, it could get ugly from here.

    These come in many different flavors, most of which retail between $350 and $400.
