After last season's fairly underwhelming performance, I was wicked excited to see this. Quite a few pieces from men's and women's alike I plan on picking up if the planets align on sizing and income.

As much as I love Ann, this was more return to form. For Chalayan or Pugh it was really new heights.

agreed to a certain extent, but that doesn't take away from how nice it really was. i think it beats/matches a lot of the collections before the dip of the past few years. i don't pay much attention to chalayan or pugh, so i won't comment for now. maybe i'll check them out later and have a rebuttal.

It was nice, I don't disagree - there are certainly more wearable garments here, and a refinement of her aesthetic that's undeniable - but my heart is starting to turn in favour of the new guard. Ann has been consistently working towards the same end for a bit over three decades now, while Pugh is finally breaking out from under Rick's shadow in a way that past collaborators with him have not. If he can start to compliment his technically impressive runway pieces with more commercial works that keep the same retro-future inspiration, it's going to be a wicked exciting development

aside from the paired sensory appendage transmorphisms resulting in arthropod heads, the womens collection is so dramatic, evoking thoughts of flowing silk sheets or something like that
