Hi guys! I have been watching closely the AI denim because of the higher rise and not so slim fit: for someone that is 185 cm tall and usually wears a 50 or 52 in trousers, which inseam and waist size would you recommend?
Can you compare measurements to existing trousers? Imo that would be your best option. I am a 33 in AI denim, and would usually take a 50

Thanks! Definitely going to compare to my trousers and possibly order a couple sizes to try, just wanted to have a place to start.

If you wish to turn the jeans up at the cuff as is de rigueur nowadays. I think 32" in seam would be your best bet. 30" would be too short for someone who is your height.

For waist, it sounds like either a 32" or 33". From recollection, the 32" is quite generous.

Hi all - I was wondering if anyone on here had OCBDs from A-I and Drake's and could say whether they take the same size or not. Thanks so much.
I don't own an AI OCBD, but I did try on their shirts when I visited. Drake's OCBD fits small in the neck in my experience, and thus I take a size up from what I would wear in AI.

Appreciate it! I wear a 16 in Drake's so I'll try the A-I in the 15 3/4

I fit both Drakes 15.5 and a 15 3/4. I usually go 15.5 if it's a shirt I won't wear with a tie, but will grab either based on availability. I found the AI 15.5 a tad smaller in the neck than the Drake's 15.5. Next time I'm going to try the AI 15 3/4. Hope this helps.

Have wondered this as well. He appears to have deleted his Instagram account. Jens Beck, who I think did their e-commerce (though not 100% on that) has apparently also left recently.

In case anyone needs this in the future, 33'' waist and 32'' inseam ended up being the best fit for me!

Good to know. Are you expecting them to give at all? I've thinking about ordering some, and assuming that they'll give another inch in the waist after some wears, but since they're washed maybe I'm assuming incorrectly.

I am this as well, i'm a 33' waist and went with a size 32. I've found the waist to be very forgiving. They did seem to shrink a bit when washed, but stretched back out within a few wears. I'm 5'8 and prefer the 30' inseam. They end up around my ankle bone with a tiny cuff.

Don't know for sure since I received them just a couple of days ago, but since they are washed I would expect them to shrink a bit when washed and then get back to the original shape after you wear them. I was going mainly for a good fit in the legs, since I can always have the waist altered or wear a belt.

I also was wondering if Alex left or just deleted IG being that he is the co-founder.

also, as far as their denim. I like it as much as the next person. Just be aware, ive owned like 4 pairs at various times and the measurement never matches the website fully. The rise has always been shorter and the waist sometimes a full size smaller. My advice would be to use the website measurements as a general guide and order the size that you think you are and maybe 1 size up.
They do stretch with wear, but one of my pairs was so tight in the waist I could barely button it and was unwearable.
