I cannot speak to a Berg & Berg comparison, but IMO Anglo's shirts have a very unique cut.

Anglo has a high armhole and a trimmer arm (compared to something like S&M), but they are quite full through the body/waist otherwise. It creates an interesting (and seemingly Italian effect) of having a trim shirt with a relatively relaxed fit throughout. Billowy but not sloppy, perhaps?

I like the zephyr as well, but RTW sleeves are too short for me (I wear a 16.5). So that's something to watch out for (although their Size Chart is now showing spread collar's at 65.5cm, which is a change).
That's really nice to hear I may try one of these as an OCBD.

I like my Drake's but they're narrow in the shoulders and the sleeves are a bit full. I also need a 36" sleeve MTO. I've learned that atm Drake's only offers neck/body size choice and length options so only one issue can be fixed.

Can you speak to sleeve shrinkage? I wear a Drake's 16 but after one wash the sleeves are two short and overall not the same fit.

I have a an OCBD and a spread collar shirt both I which I really like the cut of. The only issue I’ve found is that the cuffs are cut very slim and I struggle to fit even a very thin dress watch under them. I don’t have particularly thick wrists I wonder if anyone else finds this?

I only measured the sleeves quickly upon first receiving my shirts. But after a few washes, sleeve length is measuring up the same within an 1/8th of an inch or so. My OTR denim shirt also seems to be fine. Certainly has not shrunk to a noticeable degree. I wash in cold, delicate cycle, and hang dry though. So if you hot wash your shirts and/or tumble dry them, I would except shrinkage and order accordingly.

Yes, their sleeves are fitted at the wrist. Spier & Mackay does the same thing. The idea here is to keep the sleeves are the correct point of the wrist, as opposed to slipping too low. By contrast, I've noticed American makers (Sid Mashburn for example) that have looser cuffs. This can work fine, except if your sleeve is slightly too long - then the sleeve hangs too low below the jacket cuff.

OTR shirts have to accommodate to many different wrist sizes, so cuff adjustments (especially on one's watch wrist) is a common adjustment many men will make when they move to custom shirting.

As someone with relatively slim 6.2" wrists, the cuffs on their button-down shirts and polos in size 15.5/medium are surprisingly well fitted for RTW. I have also experienced notable sizing inconsistencies though, including a seemingly mislabeled shirt that was 2 sizes too large across all dimensions. Sometimes I wish smaller brands would implement better QC to catch these issues before they reach the customer, especially at this price point.

Any reason for the sale (if willing to share) out of curiosity?

As well, kind of a dumb question, but do you feel the shoulders wear wider than their listed measurements? That's the greatest fear for me in giving them a try

I bought it after buying another AI jacket in flannel in the same size. The first jacket had fit well after being let out, so I assumed that would be the case with the hopsack. As it turns out, the hopsack is noticeably smaller in shoulder, chest and waist, such that it is too small for me. So, either there is sizing variance among jackets or there was differing amounts of excess material in each jacket.

It's a drape cut, so the shoulders and chest are intended to be wider. I bought to my measurements (or so I thought), so the shoulders hit just at the right point for me, whereas my flannel jacket extends an additional 0.5" on each side, and probably looks better for it. I considered going up a size in the hopsack, which would provide more of the intended fit, but ended up with a jacket from Caruso.

Ya, that's what spooks me a bit with their cut/the measurements. Their shoulders (assuming size charting is right, by and large) are pretty dang slim for their cut's silhouette. Bah.Bummer.

Does anyone know much about how Anglo-Italian's bespoke service works. It looks to me like they only have two blocks but the description they put online regarding it is a tad cryptic.

Had a jacket made for me in their house navy hopsack. Turned out very well. As far as I can tell it was based on a completely new paper pattern. A little bit more structured than my Corcos stuff, lighter construction than my Steed jackets. Anglo-Italian with an emphasis on Italian. Think we did three fittings, I’m not the easiest to fit, and very very happy with the end result

Thank you that's incredibly helpful. I quite like their blazers but for various reasons would like a slightly heavier fabric than the RTW garments, so might look at using the bespoke.
