Not sure I understand: are you saying they can make you a jacket and pants, but not a suit, in that timeframe?

Yes, I'm wondering the same thing. I'm not sure what the distinction is from a tailoring perspective.

Sorry about the confusion. They can certainly do a suit in 10 days (but only with one fiiting)
They normally recommend two fittings and will probably required 2 weeks or more :)

I think it's been mentioned before, but I want to reiterate that the best course of action in a rushed situation is to get two fittings and then allow them to send you the finished product via mail. Worth the extra wait and paying the shipping to get that second fit in there.

Except for my last jacket (which was rushed as I was leaving Korea, though I still got 2 fits before picking up the final product), I always got 3 to 4 fits.

Has anyone ordered an RTW item from the store? I am interested in a linen field coat but wonder how it goes if you have questions. Given the language barriers, are they responsive?

I don't think they do RTW. They have a lot of suits and jackets hanging in the store, but I think these are "display models" and I imagine that most of them were made to fit one of the staff (for photography/publicity purposes), in which case they would be way too small for a lot of Westerners.

The atelier does stock a lot of accessories which you can purchase on the spot. I picked up a tie and a pocket square during my visit.

Yeah, those are ready made.

They are also looking into expanding into MTM, I think

BTW did anyone know they were doing a trunk show in Stockholm at the weekend gone?:inlove:
Some tailor hosted them.

Really wish they would do one in London, without the armoury though.
No offence to the armoury of course, but their involvement inevitably means they get a cut, therefore a higher price for the consumer.
