Did you buy those from me, if so, you were the lucky one, I have had so many requests for that shoe since it went out....I guess if you did, I can take the pic down, I get a call every other day wondering if it has been returned.

Are you "X-ing" out the shoes on the website when they have been sold out? I've been considering a pair or two, but have noticed that all the size 12s and 13s are still apparently for sale. Is that the case?

I'll throw in an 8D request (I assume these are given in U.S. sizes, so 8D will work if I wear, say, Allen Edmonds in the same size).

I haven't been following the Grenson threads as of late, but if there's still good stuff left I'm interested.

Boy, I'll say it again -- after seeing these Grenson's it's unbelievably clear to me that Grenson's image is suffering in view of their website. What a piece of crap their website is... Grenson has beautiful designs (even more clear to me now that I've bought two pairs), yet their website looks like a JCPenney catalog (or worse) (i.e., it looks very downscale/pedestrian).

I just received my Johnston & Murphy Handmades from Bennie's - the black 'shovel-sole' wingtips - and they're fantastic.
(Still have their $1,000 price stickers on, which is fun.)

I'll definitely buy from them again, if/when they receive more Grenson's in my size...

Bennie's doesn't seem to answer emails too well, yet they are always there to answer the phone.... Best bet seems to be calling them.

Someone stop me before I kill (my credit-card) again.

So, with the Canadian dollar enjoying a 12 year high against the US Dollar, I figured if I buy some shoes from Bennies I am basically making money. Or something.

I ordered a pair of the Grenson chestnutty captoes and Chris was fantastic to deal with on the phone. Shipping is $20 US to Canada. If anyone is still hesitating, I recommend them highly.
