Amusing litte Jantzen QC problem

So, I recently had made three FC shirts. Really liked the fit and fabrics. Took out the last one to wear today and discovered that they had forgot to make cufflink holes on the cuff of one of the sleeves. Of course, I can get a tailor to put in the holes very easily, but it is an amusing quality control lapse.

What do you pay for those shirts, I heard about 40US.... you cannot expect miracles for that money.

I agree, hence my reference to the QC problem as amusing, rather than overly annoying. I am just glad I had not packed the shirt for business use. Discovering the missing button holes in the hotel room would have not been so amusing.

BTW, I'm still waiting for an order I placed 4 months ago. Ricky keeps ignoring my e-mails. I want to get some more shirts, but this is pretty damn inconvenient for some shirts.

Calling him is often more effective (although obviously a bit of a hassle). I just recently received four shirts comprising two separate orders going back several months. Good luck.

I may have been the problem. I clearly had over allotment of button holes - 24 cuff button holes (6 with double button cuffs) and 16 more for cufflinks (2 double cuff shirts).

I may be lucky but I have ordered a number of shirts from Ricky without incident except for sleeves that may have been be a bit tight at the elbow. Excellent fabrics and construction on all.

Very good value for the price. I am about to order more.
