6cm is the traditional width for knit ties, and since ours are made at one of the oldest/best manufacturers of these ties, they are thus 6cm wide. We haven’t yet found a supplier for wider knit ties we were pleased with. Whenever we do, wider knit ties will likely be added to the collection.

I'm a newcomer to knit ties, so I don't know what's proper or pleasing for them. But 6 cm seems slim and I was just reading the knit-tie appreciation thread, where most posters professed a preference for 7-8 cm. I look forward to seeing wider when it becomes available!

Yes, with a tendency towards wider ties again, ‘everyone’ seems to be looking for wider knits. I get why they are sought after/preferred, but we haven’t yet found a sample yet we are pleased enough with to order a run of ties after our own specifications.
