This is a problem in store selection as slim clothes in Atlanta are easy to find. Neimans here caters to a wealthy professional clientele and they tend in Georgia to be waist size 34" or higher and want a more traditional cut. I can't blame Neimans for wanting to focus on this segment as that is where the money is.

You should have PMed me and I could have met up with you and pointed you in the right direction.

AF, thanks for the kind offer. Having read your many wonderful posts, I did consider contacting you. Perhaps I will on a future visit. All the best.

I don't really find San Francisco shopping very superior either. I suppose the new Barney's adds something, but the high-end clothing were the usual suspects; Cable Car Clothiers is one of the few unique offerings.

In fairness once you get outside of the Capital the UK is generally very poor, I would imagine that would apply to most other EU countries also.

>I'm guessing the problem with Atlanta is the city.

Only ever switched planes there but yeah!

Ouch. Such harsh words for one of my favorite cities. You guys don't know what you are missing. We have some culture here in flyover country.

The size issue is everywhere in US stores. I can rarely find 36S and 14.5 x 32. I would say it's a bigger problem at the low-end stores but I have had the same difficulties at Nordstrom's and Brooks Brothers. 30 waist trousers is not as much of a problem. What can I say? Americans like their happy meals.
