I hate it when I pretty much find my holy grail hair product and then they go ahead and discontinue it. It was a great product. Anyone else use it?

never heard of it
my favourite is dirty trix by some company called matrix.
i usually stock up on about 2-3 tubs in case similar happens.

you'll be able to find the discontinued stuff for a while after, so maybe now's a good time to go grab a shitload of it?

I use Citrus Mint paste as well. This always happens to me. Every single product I use gets discontinued. Any suggestions for a similar product?

American Crew's styling products have always let me down. The only time I liked what it did for me was when I had shorter hair. Now that my hair is longer, I SWEAR by Bumble & Bumble Sumotech, it's a whole nother level.

+1 on Xtah crude clay. One of the strongest stuff i've ever used. Though it is tough to wash out.

If you can find it, look for a korean matte clay called Giesel. Its as strong as the Xtah, but its matte and washes out easily. Theres only one place in my city that carries it, and its the best stuff i know.

BUt if not, Crude Clay is great stuff. Just get a good shampoo and conditioner,

that crude clay is rough on your hair though. i used it for about 2 years and in addition to a chemical smell, it really dried things out even with a good conditioner. i use bumble&bumble sumotech now, which isnt as strong of a hold but smells much better and doesnt quit unless its a particularly humid day. i highly recommend it, although it is overpriced.

Personally I really like American Crew Fiber. I've used their forming cream as well, but the fiber has a lot stronger hold. My hairdresser uses american crew all the time, but i found it way too expensive to buy their stuff at the salon, so I looked online and found www.feelunique.com. Great prices (especially because of the cheap pound) and free world wide shipping...

check ebay and buy a case. I did that with my product of choice once it was discontinued.
