Doesn't seem like these has been a comparison of these two very alike brands.
Opinions on price, quality, cut, fabrics, etc.

My opinion is Alt app is better fabrics and quality for a more expensive cost. They have less items though.

Not a big fan of Alt Apl. I get a hippie feel from most of their pieces.

Doesn't Alt Apparel only have odd colors for their basic Ts, like acid wash and beige only?

$6 per American Apparel T was too cheap to pass up, I just got 15 or so basic Ts to restock (most of my Ts had faded and look crappy)
They aren't the best, but plenty good for the price. I've never got alternative apparel, but I think they cost like 15 for a T, which is way too much for basic Ts.

I think American Apparel is a little hipster status.

What American Apparel Ts do you guys prefer? I don't like shirts that hang on my nipples (lol) so I usually just go with the Jersey ts.

Although I want to try some other ones, like the summer shirt

Yes. Mostly now all the girls in my school are decked out in full american apparel stuff. Its kind of annoying.

i wear an alternative apparel perfect v-neck everyday

i used to wear american apparel t shirts every day until i found alternative
from then on it's only alternative
i prefer alternative in cut, quality, materials, and colors
i happen to like the colors alternative offers (the natural and earth tones, although they do have a wide range of colors, not just acid and beige)
i always thought the american colors were too loud and obnoxious anyways
and all the hipsters that wear it don't make things any better
also, about alternative looking like hippie clothes
it's just the photos on the alternative site
if you looks at the same clothes on revolve or tobi, they look nothing like hippie clothes

with that said..here comes a shameless plug...

I never have worn Alt Apparel but I'm going to choose AA over choice of colors and diffrent types of clothing.

I personally find the alt. apparel v's to fit me really well in a medium, so I'll go with them.

I find myself having sizing issues with a lot of AA's shirts. The smalls are too tight in some places, but get a bit too loose with mediums :/
