A dollar is a small price for a conman to pay to convert you from disbeliever to believer. Like I edited, think escrow.

besides the obvious spelling errors in his message, what you should try doing is googling "scams, savethechildren" or other key words like "moneybrokers" to see if anything pops up

Yep. Dead on. It's a scam. I found this on the net:

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
DARFUR UNDERPRIVILEGED CHILDRENS SCHOLARSHIP TRUST FUND

Barr. Susan Williams,President, Darfur Underprivilege Childrens Scholarship
Trust Fund,a formal minister of foreign affair to Uk.

20 years ago,my abition is to care for the underprivileged. I feel so
synpathetic when i visited SUDAN,it was nothing to write about. So i decided to
set up a trust fund in Darfur because these people are really suffering and it
has always been my dreams.

Sudan is a poor country with illiteracy of about 95 of the
population.The high
level of illiteracy is evidently one of the major cause of poverty; hence the
world bank recommends basic and qualitative education as the easiest and most
effective way out.

UNICEF;believed that the right to education remains basic to any child any
where in the world.
The trust fund is a 10 years scholarship plan which enables a child acquire
basic primary and secondary education.

The fund focuses on children with sustained above average academic performance
for continuous sponsorship. Each beneficiary is entitled to $100 annually which
assist in payment of school fees, purchase of uniforms, book and pocket money.
Exactly 280 children benefited directly from the fund in its first year of
operation. These beneficiaries are categorized into orphans, the disabled and
economically disadvantaged school drop outs.

About 300 children have benefited from the fund and over $90,000 has been
expended sofar.
The darfur underprivileged childrens trust fundDUPC TF is a
non-profit,non-
religious and non-political and non-governmental organisation.

The fund has gained support from different cooperative bodies and companies
from far and near.
The DUPCTF need your support,so that this children will live a better life and
be illiteracy free.

You can contact the ManagerDUPCTF for your support and further
information.

I can't believe there was any hint of doubt in Coho's mind that this was a scam. I mean really. I didn't have to read beyond the second line.

Seems to be trying sell a boat too.
http://www.thehulltruth.com/forums/p...id=192967&mid=
Hi,
The price I'm selling it for is $3000 which is including all the shipping charges.
I live in Virginia Beach, Virginia and I work for Feed The Children, if you would like to checkout our website to give you some peace . The website is www.feedthechildren.org, it is a mission organization.
I left the country with a humanitarian mission to raise funds to buy food , clothes and medicament's so we can help the children's from poor countries.
All the money from this sale will be my contribution to the fund raising and my help for the children's.
Anyway, there shouldn't be any problem, because I am using MoneyBookers services so I can sell it without difficulty.
I left it at their warehouse before leaving. They will take care of the delivery. There's a 14 days return policy so you will have the chance to inspect it before final decision.
So if you want to purchase it, let me know and I will explain you how MoneyBookers works and how we can move forward.
I am waiting your email.

Seriously though, was there anything about the email that didn't shout scam?

for every 1000 that think it screams scam, 10 others will be in doubt, and 1 will fall for it. cast out a wide enough web and you'll get a few fish.

As soon as I read the title I knew it was a scam. Just goes to show that if someone wants something really bad & think they're getting a great deal, how far they're willing to go.

His email: [email protected] His name is "You and Me". I'm more and more convinced that they trap buyers around the world. That's why there's no specific name. Otherwise, a "Dr. Robert Wilson" would be more enticing.
