Ever night I drink at least, either two bottles of wine, or about three quarters of a bottle of spirits...
I sleep about 2am wake up at about 7am everyday... and I sleep untill about 3pm on weekends.
Is this okay, or do I need to seek help?

That is very excessive, at the very least. Do you feel like you NEED that nightly alcohol to survive?

If it were me, I'd be concerned (if not dead).

I don't feel I 'NEED' it, but I feel that the evening is too boaring without it... I hate watching TV, and I need to wind down in the evening...

It isn't great for your body, obviously. But from my understanding of the mental health aspect that determines whether one is or is not an alcoholic, I think it typically comes down to whether or not it interferes with your life and if your friends and family complain about it. So you may not be an alcoholic, but you're killing your liver.

Even by the standards of the English, this seems slightly excessive. Maybe try cutting back to 1 bottle of wine or 3/8 of a bottle of spirits.

You must be drinking pretty good stuff, though, or else the hangovers would be paralyzing!

That's what I feel, I have a good work, family and social life, but yeah my liver is suffering.

Just get rid of all your alcohol, by a couple good novels and use them to wind down. Probably gonna suck for awhile and you'll have more trouble sleeping but **** man, 2 bottles of wine? If I drink more than one bottle, it's at least a week before I can drink again and enjoy it.

I used to get hangovers, but they stopped as the amounts of alcohol increased, perhaps I'm constantly drunk? Although, yes, the alcohol tends to be high quality.

I actually remeber when it started, I could never get to sleep, even after a shag.

I'm surprised you could rise to the occasion considering the amount of alcohol that you consume. Vitamin V?

I doubt you're "constantly" drunk - well, depends on what you drink for lunch. You Brits seem to like liquid lunches, whereas in New York people usually eat at their desk and on the rare meal out, are too scared to drink anything stronger than a Diet Coke. (I include myself among them.)

The high quality of the alcohol probably has more to do with it. A bottle of good champagne will leave you with no ill effects the next day. Same with a few tumblers of good Scotch.

Yes, you're an alcoholic. Look in the phone book under AA.
