Looking for something shaped kinda like this:
But made of metal rather than plastic or horn.
This style seems to be incredibly rare-- I've managed to find a small handful of examples on etsy shops, but nothing quite right.
I think these are the same model. They're all by Tura. The ones featured in the third picture are still for sale, but the second picture leads me to believe they might be slightly to "cat-eyed" for my tastes.
Here's another pair that's still for sale, these ones by Art-Craft, but they look a bit dirty and possibly rusty in the seller's other photos. They're inexpensive so I might buy them anyway just to try.
Here's another pretty one by Tura, though I'm not sure about the leather sides, and it's also a little cat-eyed. Doesn't matter anyway, it already sold.
I hope I'll eventually find something close to what I'm looking for if I keep searching Etsy every couple of weeks for variations of "silver/chrome/aluminum eyeglasses", and sift through the endless ladies' frames (there's no shortage of full-metal glasses for women, for some reason).
But in the meantime, do any of you have any advice or information that might lead me to the whereabouts of these shiny specs?
