I am looking for some help with replacement jeans to wear with a nice tucked in button down shirt, or a polo shirt. I have a pair of medium wash straight cut j. Crew jeans which are very nice, but the waistband is really thin and doesn't seem to work very well tucked in.

What are by <$100 alternatives?

I spent 20 Minutes looking through there, and did not see an answer to my question.

The point is that you should ask your question in that thread, rather than start an entirely new one.

Huh, if only there were some sort of classic and iconic straight-leg jean that you could get at just about any department store for $40 or less...

And if only they could be shrunk-to-fit.

most mall brands are under 100, but if you want decent quality jeans try apc new rescues. they are 150.
