Hi.

I just bought this great looking velvet blazer from Express and it looks great.

However, I am a pretty short person so the blazer looks a bit long on me. Is it possible to shorten the length of a blazer? What's a good fit for a blazer lengthwise? If I can get it altered, how much would it be?

Thank you~~

A jacket should just cover your butt. Shortening is possible, and will be around $50.

With your arms straight down, you should be able to cup the bottom of the jacket in your hands. In other words, the jacket should reach where your fingers meet your hand, generally. Note the above comment regard covering your rear and find a balance if you have odd proportions.
