Ebay is really becoming a drag. I've got a pair of C&J cordovan loafers up for auction and just received this message: "Yes indeed I do have a question. How and IF is it indicated that they are "Crockett" Polo? Is it printed inside the shoe or on the sole? If not, why Crockett & Jones? I see fraudulent listings all the time. Please provide photo documentation of your authencity of "Crockett". If you do not, you may be certain that it will be reported. Thanks, and good luck with your listing. Bill Wells" So basically, because this clown doesn't know what he's talking about, I might have to defend myself to ebay. I guess things like this are part of the reason why the sf selling forum is so popular. It also makes me really hesitate to purchase clothing/shoes over the net anymore. If I try something on in person, I'll know it fits, I like the color, etc. Then I won't waste so much time searching/buying/selling/shipping sartorial items all over the USA.
