Hi everyone!
I'm starting to appreciate crocodile shoes,
what do you think of the below Tan crocodile tassel loafers?
This pair is at discount price I am thinking if I should get them ...
Want to ask your advice which ages of men can wear cro / all skin shoes well ?
I'm just 30s and I just afraid I cannot "carry" them ...

That leather looks really bad, IMO.

I think alligator/ crocodile skins are best when the scales are clean. A lot of the stuff on the market looks crinkly -- either because they're cut from caiman, or they're cut from the side of a lower-grade hide (not even the belly), or because of how a tannery processed the skin.

The crinkly stuff just looks cheap and ugly to me. If the skin isn't any good, I think you'd be better off with calfskin.

Example of what I mean by clean scales.

That carmina crock is caiman, it's on outlet sale for 672$ for a reason. It's definitely not a high end grade alligator but at that price you want to rock caiman then go for it. Nothing wrong with that, full price caiman will cost you around 1000$ usd estimately.

Similar to a cordovan group order we hosted a few weeks back, we are thinking of developing an alligator or crocodile belt. Are there any interested parties on this forum?

Jeeves,

Can you get these with brown croc on black calf or black suede shoes? Same Vass shoes.

Vintage croc tassels loafers I wore Saturday night to a wedding rehearsal dinner. Absolutely worth the $20 I paid on eBay.
