In past years, Mezlan has put out some very bad crocodile shoes. Bad skins and worse styling. It is a shame that it is hard to get rid of a bad rep. Now they seem to have gotten it right on some of their offerings. Thanks for showing us, MM.

There is a Mezlan store near me that just opened and I have to agree. Their offerings are nicer now however there are some wonky styles that only certain folks (pimps) could wear.

One thing I do like but have no experience is their gator belts. The scales look fantastic and the colors they have are absolutely beautiful. I don't think I could wear a gator or croc shoe though. They are just beautiful to look at

I will have to take photos when I go back. I have a croc belt that needs shortening. They do it for free which is fantastic

Can you imagine how heavy all of that stuff is? Good for weight loss, however.

Mezlan at one time was making more alligator/crocodile footwear than anyone. To keep the prices low, they made use of bad skins? Believe it or not, they also produce a lot of styles that aren't pimp style. Have you noticed when Mezlan uses non-traditional styles and colors, we call them pimp shoes. But when high end shoemakers use similar styles and colors, we don't call them trashy or pimp shoes.

shoes below are from Pierre Corthay. Mauri and Mezlan were using these styles and colors as pimp shoes 10-15 years ago.

You guys need to stop referencing pimps with shoes... really. It's silly to think all pimps look like Bishop Don Juan. It only shows that you are only trying yo comfort yourself in silly stereotypes. But I digress...
