It's hand welted. Made by Suzanne George
I had to look her up - had not heard of her before. She obviously knows what she is doing!
Oh how I wish I could find a quality shoemaker in Atlanta.
Yes - one can order bespoke shoes from many places - but I want to have the experience of being close at hand to participate in the process.
Congratulations to you - I predict you will wear them for MANY years.
+1 those shoes are beautiful.
you dislike the lobbs but like this? wow.
FAIL. Proportions all wrong and book matching of hide also clashes.
Somehow never seen this thread. I'll post my contribution for posterity's sake.
Good I bumped it then, so I can see these you have. God damn man give me some details now now now!
They are Gravati for Wilkes Bashford. Poasted a while back in the WAYW Shoo/Boot thread, but I figured the x-post was necessary.
Very necessary. I love croco in loafers, the best thing.
Love and would wear with pretty much everything but a suit.
Couple of pictures of my one pair of crocodile loafers by Peter Millar. Pics taken outside to try and get the true color of the shoes.
These have to be the nicest croc shoes that I have seen.
Picture from ethandesu.com
the ones by hampton are nicer.
