i'm interested in the allen edmonds weymouth--saw them at nordstrom a few months ago and they look much better in person than they do on their website.

does anyone have these and can you tell me about the fit?

also, can someone who has been to an ae outlet store tell me about the general availability of their models? do they have them stocked in many sizes and widths?

They run a little long. I am 11D in Evanston and my 11D Weybridges are a touch large. I put a very thin insole in them and they are perfect. If I could re-buy, I would have done down 0.5 size.

They do look much better in person. One of the few AEs available in a true dark brown (not merlot).

I agree that they look better in person (I have them in brown and think it's a great color). However, I find them to fit a bit tighter than my PAs. Also, at least in my case, they are developing some unusual creases.

I also have them in the chili brown color. I agree with css6 that they are a tad tight. For me it's the width that's the issue. But I also have completely asymmetrical feet with my left foot being almost a size smaller than my right. I could to a 10.5D on my right foot but end up with 10Ds instead and in the case of these beautiful shoes, it's borderline too tight. I also want to reiterate that they are fantastic looking shoes. I don't know how many compliments I have received when I wear them, but even total strangers on the metro have commented... so I cope with the pain on my right foot and hope that the leather will stretch in another few weeks.

The width is where I notice them being tighter as well. Maybe the height as well. They are not uncomfortable though. I wonder if this tightness is contributing to the creases that are developing. I don't see this type of creasing on my other AEs.
