Allen Edmonds Westwood Sole Too Thick?

I found a great deal for these Allen Edmonds Westwood shoes online.

http://www.allenedmonds.com/aeonline...val=&Widthval=

Although they are described for 'year long' the thick sole looks more to be a winter style. As I live in Floriday (no winter) would these still be OK in warmer weather or would they look a bit out of place?

Thanks for any input!

You'd get away with it, but if you're looking for a dressy look then I'd save your money and get a slimmer leather sole. It is a good deal though. So if you're not wearing them with a suit or nice dress pants all the time and will get a lot of wear out of them then I'd say they'd make for a great all year round shoe just as they advertise. It is dress casual, again just as they are advertising.

Definitely nothing wrong with those shoes. Just depends on your use of them.

Thanks for the opinion. The office is fairly casual (no suits) so this should be good, then. Later, I'll get a separate leather sole shoe to complement these for formal or evening occassions.
