Allen Edmonds Vs. Loake longwing brogues

Found two pairs of great shoes at a garage sale. Allen Edmonds MacNeils and Loake black Royal Brogues. I know a bit about AE but not a lot about Loake. These aren’t the high end Loake’s so not in the 1880 range. Trying to figure out which ones to keep. Both fit great. Curious to see thoughts on which one has better construction (both Goodyear welted, neither are cordovan), which one has better appeal to you with style/shape? Got both for $100 total so I don’t think I’m going to loose out either way. Loakes on the left in the image.

Nice find, I love the Aldens although to be fair they are very similar to a pair of Aldens I have, the wingtip balmoral, 903 style, similar but not the same but I do think I prefer the sides of straight lines of the MacNeills, the stitching all along the side of the shoe is very nice. Personally I would give the Loake a miss but for $50 they are a steal.
