Hey all-

I was wondering if anyone had information on the discontinued (I think...) Allen Edmonds Sanford model.

I have a pair of black Park Avenue's in the same size as a used pair on e-bay (see link) and I think these would be a nice compliment.

Are they built on the same last? A similar last? How will the fit compare? Any other thoughts on these?

They don't seem like a killer deal, but definitely solid.

Thanks in advance!

The Sanford is a nice shoe. I have two pairs that are, unfortunately, the wrong width for my feet.

The one in your Ebay auction looks to be in good condition. Congrats on the find!

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
