What are the benefits, if any, of using the AE leather lotion? Does it soften the leather? Does it help the shoe conform to the foot? Any ideas?

From brand to brand the most commonly found ingredient in most leather lotions appears to be neatsfoot oil.

The AE leather lotion is what to use where you have contrast stitching such as the Wilbert. I have both the brown and black Wilbert and use it for those. The AE Conditioner and Cleaner can carry the shoe color over to the stitching, it is what I use on most of my other shoes. Well I used to, I have gone to Saphir Renovateur except for the Wilbert's.
