For your consideration is a beautiful pair of pre-owned Allen Edmonds Walnut Shell Cordovan Dalton Boots in size 8E on the 511 last.
These boots were a special order through Allen Edmonds’ MTO/SMU program in 2012, and are made from beautiful Horween Walnut Shell Cordovan. This color of shell cordovan is no longer available at all, and Allen Edmonds has since suspended its MTO/SMU program. These boots are also unlined (which Allen Edmonds will no longer do), which makes them incredibly light and comfortable. These boots will likely never be made again. They are on JR soles with a dark welt and edge. The original shoe box and shoe bags are included (no shoe trees). These boots are first quality.
These boots are in overall excellent pre-owned condition. Please see the photos for the full, detailed images of the boots. The boots have only been worn half a dozen times, and originally cost over $550. The boots have normal wear in the form of scratches and nicks on the upper of each boot. The uppers have typical shell cordovan creases and rolls (although very minimal on this pair despite being worn). Soles have normal wear, heels are in good shape. The tongue on the right boot is slightly overaligned to the right, and there are some scratches on each tongue caused by the eyelets (typical of AE boots).
The original shoe box and dust bags are included (no shoe trees are included). Please know your size in the Allen Edmonds 511 last (these will likely fit someone who normally wears 8.5D or 8E in various Allen Edmonds lasts), as there are absolutely no returns.
