Wait, what is this 2 for 300 sale?
Are those the Mcallister? If so, very nice looking shoes.
Scroll back to the posts from a day or two ago to see more details about the differences between the BB shoes and the regular AE shoes. To summarize though, the only differences are that all the BB shoes have the rubber tap sole, which is the same as AE's new v-tread tap sole, the BB's have a dovetailed heel, and they have a Poron insole instead of the traditional natural leather insole. Other than that they are the same.
Anyone else have any info about the Thanksgiving sale? Perhaps someone can contact the Shoe Bank and ask them about the Thanksgiving seconds sale .
Just to follow up from my last post. I got the brown calf MacNeils from the shoebank and they arent the rough version. They are straight up brown calf. For $129 I'm very pleased.
Please post some pictures when you have time. Hope you enjoy them.
Kenilworth - Brown and Bourbon (the shade of brown & bourbon on the right are the most accurate)
Kenilworth - Burgundy, Bourbon, Brown
I thinking about keeping the Brown pair as I think they're the most versatile.
My current collection consists of:
All golf shoes will be $159.
Lubbock - $134
Delray - $259
Parkway - $159
Park Avenue - $199
Strand - $199
Is that only from the shoebank and seconds?
Also, anyone know what last is the fairfax in?
Just another reminder guys
I never realized the Kenilworth was such a good looking shoe
Strand for 199$... Done and done!
Someone was asking a bit ago about a comparison pic between the old burgundy shell and the new burgundy shell color.
New shell Fifth Streets on the left and old (~8 months) shell Cambridge on the right.
I do like the darkness of the new burgundy shell and look forward to it getting depth over time. But, I do like the redness of the old burgundy and think they make a great contrast when paired with a grey pinstripe suit.
Tough decision some days on which one to go with, but glad the option is there.
-They look like the lines on the McAllister to me, maybe the Merlot?
