Finally got around to my first post. Got my first real pair of Allen Edmonds today! I have some Brooks Brother shoes made by AE but stoked about the Strand purchase.

For those of you who have a Macy's that carries AE's there is a good sale right now (when don't they have a sale). I just picked up my pair of brand new Walnut Strands for $207.

Now to save for the next pair...

Mind if I ask where you live? I don't see any Allen Edmonds on Macy's website. Is it a local thing?

Finally took the Bourbon Strands out for a spin last night. I felt like a million bucks:

So I managed to scuff some of the pigment off a pair of walnut shell cordovan daltons. Any tips on how to fix it or even what polish to use to cover it up? It's not exactly a normal AE color.

Atlanta Georgia. The Lenox mall has them.

I knew the sale was happening today so I checked online and no AE were listed. The sales rep in the store said that not all stores carry them and they don't sell them online.

I sort of doubt it. 8EE or even 8EEE would be a better candidate. Going down to a B width with only a 1/2 size up is going to be quite narrow.

I am just hoping they fit. On AE website it said 7-97 last is flat around the toe area. Meaning this last is quite roomy ? Anyone here own this pair or pairs on the same last could you please comment on fit.
My correct sizing for AE strands is 7.5 EEE and on Fifth ST boots 8 D. How far am I from 8 B ?

I have AE strands in 8EEE - which fits really loose(a little bit too long on the toe box and a bit way too much space around the toe). I wear 2 insoles and fits perfect . So I am about 7.5 EEE in AE strands.
I have AE Fifth ST boots. I have them in size 8.5D. They are a bit too long a a bit too loose. MY perfect size on them would've been 8D
