Thanks. Also wearing a light blue shirt and dark blue grenadine tie (conservative; I know; had a hearing in the AM). So picking up the tie in the socks.
Yeah this won't be a problem at all. They have the best return policy anywhere on the planet.
Better than costco's?
Received my walnut dalton seconds
- besides a few issues I noticed I am pretty happy that they fit
Yeah, for those that are comparing toe cap sizes, toe cap and brogueing position (anterior-posterior) depends on shoe size.
Bayfields arrived today, fit is spot on. They are a little lighter in colour than I was expecting, but I can change that easily enough should I decide to.
Did you buy them from AE?
Does anyone know why AE stopped making the Bayfield?
You can't even count those as being defects... Those are negligible, enjoy them!
those "defects" wouldn't bother me at all. Wear and enjoy!
No, I got them from Lands End. They were on sale a few days back and couldn't resist.
Was it a normal sale or a coupon?
I just checked and they are 350.
They were on sale, not a coupon. They were $245.
Are they going to have them on sale again?
Do you know if I can still get AE to make me a pair in C width?
I need two pairs, one for a friend and one for me.
I have wide feet and I am a true US8EEE. I have AE Fifth Street boot in US 8.5D. Which fits good. Just feel a bit long. But US 8 would’ve been too tight around toe area. I have received my pair of AE Strand in US 8EEE. But this shoes are way too wide and I have too much space around my toe area. Also I feel this pair is slightly log as well. I think I could’ve done better with US 7.5 EEE. My understanding was both pairs on the same last. Am I missing some thing here ?
