I will, some time this afternoon. I ordered both black and brown on clearance. These will be my first boots.

I have the Fifth Streets in both brown & black. I like them both. They have more toe room than any of my other AE shoes or boots. My only regret is that I should of gotten the black pair first.

My Christmas present - kind of. I got some cash for Christmas, so I quickly converted it to these. They have been at my local menswear/shoe store for a couple of months and I have been checking them out. So Christmas cash was a perfect fit.

I bring you my new Bourbon Flatirons.

I picked up a pair of the brown calf/brown grain Hamptons and a pair granite grey Parkways on clearance. I'm a 9D on the Brannock device and both fit me well at size 9D (the Parkway is my first try with the 333 last). I think the Hamptons is a keeper, but I'm not so certain about the Parkway. They look really long (they look to be about half an inch to an inch longer than the 1-lasted Hamptons but due to the shape, fits about the same) and I'm not sure what to wear with the grey color. Anyone here with suggestions on what pants goe with granite grey?

The 333 is exceptionally long, yes. My SA recommended going down in size.

Gray is a neutral color. You can pair it with anything. I would avoid other neutral colors. Otherwise have a blast. Post some photos.

Thanks for the reply. I think if I sized down on the 333 last, my pinky toe might get squeezed a bit. I guess I'll sit on it for a while before deciding if I will return or not.

Some quick pics of the brown Hamptons and grey Parkways:
Yes, the "V" seems kind of wide, but the shoe fits really well everywhere.

The 9D was a bit too tight for me - the pinky toe was squeezed. The 9.5D was just a tad big, but OK. I think I would be a true 9.25D in the 333 last vs 9.5D in just about every other AE I own. So I opted for the "bit too big" figuring that's more manageable than "bit too small".

I'm looking for a plain toe blucher, maybe the model Leeds. Can anyone recommend a model and favorite color shoe that Allen Edmonds makes that fits the bill?

The heel was too wide on the 9E - a lot of slipping.

Slam there has been some talk about doing special order and one idea was a brown Leeds shell natural sole. I think that will be pretty close to cigar. Bucksfan was the one setting it up.

I have a custom made dark brown shell Leeds (with dark edging). It is fairly similar to Alden's cigar. A very nice shoe.
