    You can at least try on some AEs at Nordstrom to get a feel for your size. Another option is getting factory seconds from AE during a sale time (like now). I'm a college student, too, so I will often go via this route to save some money. Flaws are usually negligible and you can return them if it is too noticeable.

    So what is the total price that you have paid (including the new 20% discount)? Is that worth the shoes?

    About 170 after the discount so it's a pretty good deal. The shoes look great otherwise. Is this kind of thing even fixable?

    Thanks for the reply. I've actually seen and really love KW'a black wholecuts. I've been searching for something that might be a bit more affordable for me.

    It looks like the flaw is on the tongue and is covered by the upper. I think that's good!

    Wearing my new daltons around the house tonight. I can't believe how light these are compared to my north plattes. Great looking shoe.
