Yeah I think I will tough it out and wait for the conditioner to come in before wearing.
so i need help, i cant seem to figure out what shoes i have bought off ebay. That is the shoe and the numbers inside of the shoe. Please help decipher this. TIA!
Brooks Brothers dicked me around on a clearance order of Lightweights Peal & Co's and cancelled it, so I sent in a very complimentary email and they ended up offering to honor my clearance price on a comparable product, which turned out to be Strands. I have been waiting for a pair of Dark Brown Burnished Calf (in 13B) to go on sale somewhere and these fell into my lap!
Keep those pics coming
I have the brown bayfields and I wear the hell out of them, but the black ones feel a little too security guard-ish... Still, I will admit that when shined up like yours, they are rather sharp.
How much did you pay, might I ask?
More pics, my latest acquisition, the red Neumok
The model of shoe is usually printed on the insole.
So I got two pairs of the Player's Shoe (Walnut and Snuff Suede) during the 2 for $200 deal. I was measured at an AE store at 10.5D which is what I wear in the Park Avenue.
The Player's Shoe is a bit tight... my pinky toe (on just my right foot) feels a bit smushed with the 10.5D. Other than that they feel great. Will the shoe conform to my foot over time? It felt the same way with my Park Aves at first and now they feel great. Should I just suck it up?
The Players Shoe is more narrow than the #5 Park Avenue. I swim in the 11D Park Avenue. The 11D Players shoe pinches my foot. You can try going up a 1/2 size.
Ditto... Gotta love Alden cordovans.
I would if I had any . . . maybe next season.
Would going from a 10.5D to a 10.5E help more? Or would sizing up help more? It pinches the side of my feet, not the tips of my toes.
