At least in my size 14 EEE, I find the 2 last (walnut Player's) and 8 last (Delray) to fit more narrowly across the toe box than the 5 (Park Avenue and McTavish).

I think that is a bit high. You should be able to get 1st quality Park Avenues for that price on sale. I think there is a Nordstrom Anniversary Sale coming in June.

Does anyone have experience with the fit of the 'Seven' line? Specifically the Vinci or Tresana.

For $100 they're too good to pass up, but I can't find any information on sizing compared to their regular lasts.

I feel the toe box a bit jammed in the 8 last Moras I have. It's a great shoe though.

Bah all that for nothing -- Moras have been sold in my size (7.5D). Back to the drawing board!

Guess I'll have to go for the Neumora (or C&J Lowndes, still on the fence...) instead... :satisfied:

I agree. 8 last has a more constricting toe box. Nowhere near as comfortable as my 5 last shoes.

Agreed. I am an 11E in the 5-last. I ordered 11E Players and had to send them back as they were too narrow.

FWIW, I am a 10.5E in 5 last find 11D (my usual size) in 2 last fits me fine.

It was suggested earlier in the thread that these run about half a size long. So if you normally wear an 11, you should order a 10.5 instead for the Seven series.
I only learned of this after getting my shipping notice and I had ordered my regular size, so I'll know for a fact early next week...

My foot swims in the 11D on the #5 last. The 11D in the #2 last makes my foot feel like it's stuck in a vise cranked one too many times. I think an 11.5D in the #2 would be OK but haven't had the time to check it out.

I bought my PAs, first quality, for $275 on Amazon during one of their sales. Allaboutshoes can get you the same or better deal as long as you are certain of your size. If you have time. it's worth it to hold out for first quality shoes. If it's a time sensitive issue, then take the best you can get right now.

Your comment on the 2 is right on. I think if you're a D width or wider, it is way too narrow. However, I was able to successfully size up 1/2; I just recently I had a pair on the 2 last that were 1/2 size up, and they are OK. Still not perfect, but wearable.

I sized half a size sown for the Tresana, and I kept my typical AE size on the Vinci. Keep in mind I use a 10.5 EEE
